Pattaya to Hua Hin by bus

The bus journey from Pattaya to Hua Hin is an affordable and hassle-free way to reach this coastal town. With a five to six-hour travel time and ticket prices around 473 THB, it’s both budget-friendly and convenient. Here’s what you need to know for a smooth trip.

Booking Your Ticket

Online booking: Tickets can be booked online through sites like BusOnlineTicket.co.th. Upon booking, you’ll receive a booking receipt, which you’ll need to exchange for an actual ticket at the North Pattaya bus station, specifically at gate 4.
In-Person Booking: You can also buy tickets directly from the bus operator's booth at the station

Departure and Arrival:

Departure Point:

Buses to Hua Hin depart from gate number 4 at the North Pattaya bus station. Be sure to arrive 30 minutes before departure.

Arrival Point:

You'll arrive at a bus station located just outside of Hua Hin. From there, consider these options:

Minivan Shuttle: Shared minivans can take you directly to your hotel for 100 THB per person. Note that you may be the last one dropped off, depending on your hotel's location.
Bolt: Using a ride-hailing service like Bolt can be cheaper than the minivan, especially if traveling solo.

Travel Experience

The buses are well-equipped with air conditioning, comfortable, business-class-like seating, and onboard toilets. Complimentary bottled water is provided, though you may want to bring a jacket or blanket as the air conditioning can be chilly. Note that there are no food or snack services on board, and the bus does not make stops for toilet breaks.

The bus arrives just outside Hua Hin. From there, a minivan shuttle to your hotel is available for 100 THB per person, or you can opt for a Bolt ride at a lower cost. The bus may stop at Suvarnabhumi Airport and Hua Hin Cha-Am to pick up or drop off passengers.
